Exactly as described
just got our tub installed the other day and it’s exactly what the rep said it would be! Actually it was installed in less time than we thought. We were told it would take a whole day and it only took about 6 hours to fully install. (we didn’t need any additional work done)
I was disabled back in 2007 and haven’t been able to take a bath since then, showers only. It’s wonderful to be able to take a bath and feel human again. Finally able to relax and light some candles while enjoying a great bath without worrying about slipping on the way in or out.
Pros & Cons
Install Included in Price
Great Therapeutic Features
Exceptional Customer Service
Overall we were extremely pleased with Premier Care in Bathing. Not only is the tub fantastic but we took advantage of their $1,500 off promotion. We got a great price on the tub and were happy with the service and installation. These guys left our home looking better than before and now it's much safer to bathe. Thanks Premier Care!
Pros & Cons
COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING MORE
Compared to getting into and out of my old bathtub to take a shower, the premier tub has changed my daily life. I used to avoid it until it was necessary. Mainly used a washrag to clean up daily with a shower every 4 or 5 days. I've slipped before and have been afraid ever since.
Ever since the new premier tub was installed I can get in and shower with the hand held shower. I don't have to take a bath if I dont want, but sometimes I do. I usually take a bath about twice a week now and shower daily. Haven't been worried about slipping since I got the tub.
It was expensive, but they were all expensive. There wasn't a single walk in that I looked at that was "cheap" in price. They were all over $10,000. This one ended up coming in cheaper than some of the other tubs and I was done looking. My son and daughter thought I'd lost my mind, but I've still got a few years left. Didn't really want to rely on them bathing me or finding out that I didn't shower regularly. Overall I'm pretty satisfied.
There's lots of negative reviews out there on many of these things, but the common denominator seems to be that people didn't quite understand what they were getting. If I'm able to get into a tub and not risk having to go to some homestead place, I'm fine with investing in my health. Just my two cents!
Pros & Cons
Helps my daily aches and pains
Taking less in the way of pain meds
Expensive, but right on the money
Agree with you there Julie! Yes, they’re expensive! However, they are exactly what they say they are! Great quality.
My mother hadn’t taken an actual bath for years and my Father used to help her get in the shower to get cleaned up. He’s since passed and my sisters and I didn’t feel safe with her taking a shower without anyone there. She didn’t want anyone of us helping, so we didn’t see any other option, but to get a walk in bathtub or shower.
So we, like many others, called all of the companies we found advertisements for. It was a toss-up between Premier and Safe Step, but we landed on a Premier tub because they gave us a little better value for the money spent. We spent just under $18,000 total for the tub we bought her, financed on an unsecured loan. My sisters and I are making the payments and it’s the best money we’ve ever spent.
Knowing that she’s safe everyday is the best feeling, but she’s also enjoying her freedom for the first time in the greater of ten years.
Pros & Cons
Easy to Step into
Unbelievable waist of hard earned money
We were completely mislead by the sales rep. We were told all of the medical benefits we would experience if we purchased the tub with the jet system. We fell for it and have now found that the jet system does nothing but blow bubbles into the tub. There is no hydro massaging of the legs or back. We were not informed that when we fill the tub to use the jets that supposedly massage the back the tub will take all of the hot water in the hot water tank. We have to wait for the tank to reheat to use the hot water. The installers were not electricians and could not install the
GFI switch, this had to be subcontracted to a local electrician. The electrician did not show up as scheduled so the tub installers ran a wire through the floor and just left it hanging for the electrician when he showed up. The electrician did show up a day later and informed us that he had never worked on a Premier Tub before. He thought he was supposed to install the switch under the tub but found that everything had already been caulked. I then showed him the hanging wire and he had to cut a hold in a wall and just install the switch there. We thought the GFI switch would be installed in the breaker box and out of sight but was told that could not be done so the switch was just installed on a wall in a room and looks completely our of place. Overall we are completely dissatisfied with this product and the Premier company. We tell as many family, friends and co-workers about our experience and tell them to never do business with this company. Many have already told us that they have talked to other people and let them know what happened with us. We are sure that many people have now decided not to purchase this product from this company. We urge all who read this to not do any business with this company, you will be greatly disappointed.
Pros & Cons
No medical benefit in the air jets as claimed, jets do not massage the body parts, just blows air bubbles into the tub.
Tub uses all of the hot water in the water heater, must wait for reheating before any one else can shower.
