Comfort Walk in Tubs offer several solutions to suit nearly any customer's specific and unique needs. Unlike some other companies out there, you have the option of either having someone come out to your house, or ordering one of their walk in tubs over the phone. This gives you the choice of using one of their installation partners, or you can have the walk in tun drop shipped to you and select a private contractor of your choice to do the installation. This also means that unlike some other companies, you will not receive pressure or hassles to buy right away.
Different walk in tubs offer various features for your convenience. You can choose between a premium acrylic tub, or a gel coated tub if that's your preference. Comfort Walk in Tubs offer anything from compact tubs to two-seater tubs to fit your specific wants and needs. The step-in height for these tubs is six inches, which is a little higher than other brands, but still much lower than a traditional bath tub.
Comfort Walk in Tubs has a good rating with the BBB, and backs their product with a decent lifetime warranty on the door seal, and 10 years on the rest of the parts and labor. Their walk in tubs are manufactured in China, as are a lot of other companies, but unlike others they don't try to hide this fact which adds to their trustworthiness. Their price is about average for the industry, and is fairly reasonable for the quality of the walk in tubs that they provide.
IT HAS DEFINITELY HELPED OUT IN OUR BATHROOM
We bought one for my wife about 6 months ago, it has really helped out in the bathroom. My wife has dementia, and really doesn’t care for taking baths anymore. It’s a fight nearly every-time, but she loved getting pampered in her younger years. The features make her feel relaxed, like she’s at a spa. Makes it a lot easier!
Pros & Cons
helps dementia patients bathe
Some improvements could be made
I think improvements can be made on this tub. The step is just high enough to trip over. I have done so a handful of times. I did not realize this when I bought the tub. Also it is not easy to clean. Soap scum builds up quickly and does not come off easily. I do like the jets. The bath does help my joints feel better.
Pros & Cons
Safer than my old tub
Not easy to clean
Here's My Two Cents...
My kids found Comfort Walk in Bathtubs online and recommended that I purchase one.
The Step is too high, although not as high as my previous bathtub.
Not as quality of a finish as what I was expecting
Fixtures are very cheaply made
However, the jets do feel nice and it is a safer alternative to the 16in tall tub that I was getting into before.
58yrs old and suffer from severe arthritis
Pros & Cons
Good For Arthritis
Finish Not The Best
Fixtures Are Cheap
